• Nightlight is a station that aired continuous (looped) DTV Transition information beginning on June 12, 2009 (except for emergency and severe weather alerts). Although Nightlights were allowed to operate until July 12, only a small number remained on the air until that date. Nightlights used various types of local IDs.
• Transition Highlight photographs display local DTV Transition information that was broadcast on or prior to June 12, 2009. This includes a variety of on-air Transition-related material. These stations left the air or switched to Nightlighting by midnight on June 12.

This is the most unusual DTV Transition material I received. Although it was on CBS affiliate KMOV-4, it concerns another St. Louis station, Trinity Broadcasting Network's KNLC-24. Therefore, I assume this is a commercial that was paid for by TBN. This practice may have been more common than I realize.

KMOV-4 was recorded five days before Transition Day running this KNLC-24 DTV Transition message during a commercial break on KMOV-4's late Sunday night newscast.

I never received the actual KNLC-24; I have had a local on channel 24 since the late 1970s.

Shakey signals due to Co-Channel Interference (CCI) made it almost impossible to photograph this tropo.

KMOV-4 "News 4" logo is lower right.

WCCO-4 included some local material in their DTV Transition programming.

This is one of my favorite Nightlight pictures.
